So taxing my 2015 Jaguar Project 7 for 12 months costs £790 but taxing my 2018 Project 8 for 12 months costs £200.
Same engine and both EU6 compliant, just 3 years newer but road tax is 4x the cost. Where’s the logic in that?
1993 Mercedes-Benz 500E (W124) — V8 Icon
A true legend of the 1990s, this 1993 Mercedes-Benz 500E represents the absolute peak of the W124 era — hand-assembled by Porsche, powered by the mighty M119 5.0L V8, and engineered to outrun supercars while wearing a business suit 😎.
When cars get bigger they also get heavier. EV cars are even heavier still. Does nobody realise that the crumbling British infrastructure such as Victorian bridges, pothole cratered tarmac, and tiny streets are going to collapse under the needs of these modern automotive whales?
@anon_opin ***Shit***:

***Good***:

Auto wipers
I am not inviting feedback on these (correct) conclusions at this time.
Electronic handbrakes on modern cars are shite. The analog, ratchet handbrakes on older cars were fine. An example of car boffins trying to fix problems that don't exist. See also electronic dashboards.
Alcohol shouldn't be served at airports or on planes. If you can't get through a few hours without a drink you have a problem. Other passengers and staff shouldn't have to deal with abusive and obnoxious people who have been drinking since the early hours
