JUST IN: Rep. Ann Bollin says House/Senate/Whitmer's office have come to an agreement on election rules proposal, including allowing for pre-processing of absentee ballots for the coming midterm election.

Michigan clerks have been advocating for pre-processing for awhile now.

NEW: Gov. Whitmer signs legislation to increase funding for Secondary Road Patrol program by $5M per year, from $10M to $15M, and to provide an earmarked funding source for the program annually.

$15M of liquor revenue will now fund the program each year.

Abortion is still legal in Michigan. There is a temporary injunction on the 1931 law.

But Michigan’s largest hospital system says it will act as if the 1931 law is in effect, not allowing their physicians to perform abortions. Why might this be? 1/
