Politics has brought the United States to its knees. Side-by-side on the scrapheap of history the United States and the Soviet Union. A companionship fated in their pasts. If the current president wins in November that will be the end of the Republic. Dictatorship anyone?

Future Pres. Biden has said he would not pardon the current US president. It would be most interesting to see the current US president in an orange jumpsuit.

National leaders should be required to be tested yearly to determine their suitability to continue to lead their countries. There is a certain world leader currently who should have been tested before being allowed to run and if so that country would not have so many problems.

Mary Trump's new book must read. Politicians generally should be required to take neurological testing before being allowed to run for office. We cannot afford leaders who are obviously suffering from one or more neurological deficits.

Trust in science is diminishing as citizens seek quick-fix for Coronavirus and other serious problems. Politics is largely to blame, clearly obvious In USA.

US traffic crossing Canada to Alaska must be closely monitored. Ideally such traffic should be accompanied by law enforcement during transit.

Fundamentally important we keep our border closed to traffic from US except most urgent. Even then anyone crossing from US must be quarantined for fourteen days. Further US citizens crossing to Canada must wear masks and submit to temperature checks before allowing entry.

Seems leadership from the White House nonexistent vis-à-vis coronavirus. Politicizing a pandemic not a good strategy. Politicizing children's return to school even worse. Where does it end?
