Sharing my reading list after a while! 📚
Most of these were recommended by our investors and senior founders, and the last two were especially mind-blowing!

1️⃣ "Hooked"
The mechanics of habit-forming products. Great learnings on UI/UX and how to integrate Milly’s SaaS into our users' daily routines. This is a current challenge for us, so I need to keep re-reading it alongside our development.

2️⃣ "Lean UX"
Focus on fast hypothesis testing over perfect specs. As Milly’s features grow and cash flow concerns weigh in, our development decisions have clearly slowed down. It makes me anxious, but this book reminded me of how our agile process should be.

3️⃣ "Running Lean"
A true masterpiece that hits so hard, especially at Milly’s current phase. Packed with know-how on reaching PMF ASAP by observing customer behavior rather than just listening to their opinions. Absolute must-read for startup founders.

4️⃣ A Japanese book on "Profitable Accounting"
A senior founder warned me, "Joe, you’re in trouble if you don't understand management accounting." Looking at our financial statements, focusing on contribution margins and variable costs, I have a lot to reflect on.

I’m working hard to turn a profit by the end of this year, developing a product that truly empowers the manufacturing industry, and preparing for our global expansion! 🚀🌍

久しぶりに本シェア📚
基本的に投資家さんや先輩起業家から紹介してもらった本で特に最後の2冊がめちゃくちゃ良かったです！
①『Hooked ハマるしかけ』
ユーザーが使い続ける「習慣化」のメカニズム。MillyのSaaSにどう日常を溶け込ませるか、UI/UX設計が学びになりました。ここは課題なので開発と同時に読み返した方が良いなと。

②『LEAN UX』
完璧な仕様書を作るより、素早く仮説検証を回す。ミリーの機能が増えている中で明らかにキャッシュの問題も考えて開発の意思決定は遅くなっているので意識しないといけない。とても焦るけどあるべき姿がわかる。

③『RUNNING LEAN 実践リーンスタートアップ』
名著らしく、特に今のMillyのフェーズで読むと刺さりまくる。顧客の意見より行動をみる、最速でPMFに向かうノウハウが詰ま��てる。今向き合ってるからこそとても勉強になった。スタートアップ起業家は絶対読んだ方がいいなと。

④『「数字」が読めると本当に儲かるんですか？』
先輩からジョーは管理会計わかってないからやばいぞと言われ、とにかく今の限界利益や今の変動費を決算書と見ながら反省も多い。内容としては物語ベースなので読みやすいし、数字オンチでも「儲かる会計」が肌感覚で理解できる本。プロダクトと同時に、経営者としてしっかり「数字」の根拠は持たないとと。貸して下さった方にも大変感謝。

頑張って年内黒字で製造業の皆さんの役に立てる開発と世界にも出る準備が今年できるよう頑張ります！

Google Antigravityが凄すぎる。完全に時代が変わった感ある。
非エンジニアでもプロンプト投げて「Accept」を押し続けるだけで実装完了するのは魔法みたい。
ただ、今の開発規模だと本番は信頼できるエンジニアさんに依頼し続けるけど、手元とかローカル環境でUI/UX検証したい時は最適だと思う。これ、開発スピードの次元変わるな...

Google Antigravity is insane. Feels like a genuine paradigm shift. Even non-engineers can build just by prompting and hitting "Accept" like magic. While I'll still rely on our engineers for the core product at our scale, this is a game-changer for quick UI/UX prototyping or testing ideas locally. The velocity boost is going to be unreal.

2冊目はクリスアンダーソンのフリー。 同じ製造業SaaSの先輩から推薦。最近フリーミアム機能をリリースしたので、Googleの事例はやはり学びになる。
「広告モデルでも、UXを犠牲にしない」 目先のマネタイズでUXを毀損したら本末転倒だと痛感。いかにユーザーがストレスなくエントリーし、価値を感じて支払えるか。こ��を突き詰めたい。
Second is Free by Chris Anderson, recommended by a fellow Manufacturing SaaS founder. Since we recently launched a freemium feature, the Google case study was eye-opening.
"Monetization shouldn't sacrifice UX." If ads or payments ruin the experience, it defeats the purpose. The goal is a frictionless entry where users pay because they see value, not because they're forced to.

経営者の先輩や投資家におすすめされた本、今の自分に勉強になった。

1冊目はPMF。 投資家定例で必ず問われる「顧客目線のプロダクトか？」。 頭では理解していても、顧客の声を解像度高くプロダクトに落とし込むのは本当に難しい。

本書でヒアリングの質とPMFへの道筋が明確になった。（PMFの成功事例も多く入っているのでイン���ットとして良い）あとは圧倒的な接点量と、実装への執念とアウトプット力が必要。

Two books recommended by my investors and mentors really hit home.

First is the book of PMF. The question always comes up: "Is this truly customer-centric?" Translating customer feedback into a high-resolution product is harder than it sounds.
This book clarified the path to PMF. Now, it's all about the volume of customer touchpoints and the obsession with execution.

シリコンバレーのアウトリーチ数は、
来週から海外インターンがDM数を担保してくれるからと伝えると、(今週足りておらず…)
「インターンに頼るな！CEOがマックスにアウトリーチしよう！今は大事な時期だから！」と言われて、「ひえー！はいー！おっしゃる通りー！」て感じw
アーリーステージはCEOがプロダクトもセールスも全面的にフロントに出ないと。
優先順位付けしないと一瞬で夏終わる。
ほんと有り難い環境です。

Told an AlchemistX angel investor that starting next week our overseas interns will help boost our Silicon Valley outreach DMs (’cause I’m behind this week ).
He says: “Don’t rely on interns! CEO should max out outreach! This is crunch time!”
Me: “Yesssirrr! You’re definitely right!!”
Early stage = CEO on the front lines. Product + Sales. All in.
Gotta set priorities or summer’s gone in a blink.

今日のお昼に『think clearly』を読み返していて、
内容もですが、「本を身で読む」ことが重要だと感じました。

先週、学生さんと会う機会があって、
「もう一度読まないとですね」とおっしゃっていた方がいました。
『think clearly』に限らず、良書は自分の人生の哲学になるので、偉人の生き方をいかに実生活に落とし込むかが重要だと感じました。
(ちなみにthink clearlyはストア派の考え方が入っていて、実生活に落とし込むのを重要視してるらしい)
例えば、気になった所をメモ���て、自分の実践の欄を作り、学びをメモして、生活に落とし込む。(実は経営者の先輩から教えてもらった方法で、受け売りでめちゃ恥ずかしいですが、実践してかなり効果的なので)
多読、精読、速読も大事だけど、忘れたらもったいないですよね。
とは言いつつ忘れてる本もあるし、読みたい本やタスクはたまってるんですがね。w
明日からも全力で頑張りましょう--!!!
