Asking again :
What do you do in your hospital for cognitive screening?

PEOPLE 👏🏻 LIVING 👏🏻 WITH 👏🏻 DEMENTIA 👏🏻 DESERVE 👏🏻 REHABILITATION 👏🏻
Louder for the people at the back and woe betide anyone heard saying ‘dementia = no rehab potential’.
The longer someone stays in hospital
The higher the risk of hospital acquired harm
Getting patients home is not just about "freeing beds" it's about giving them support in the right place and keeping them well. Keeping them in hospital longer than necessary adds to risks of harm

Activity trollies can be a great resource to engage patients who might otherwise feel bored or anxious in hospital.
We are grateful to @OxHospCharity and our volunteers for supporting us to use these on some of our medical wards.
