LOL! 😂 The issue is not whether the student or the teacher was correct. That is not in dispute, here; obviously, the student was right and the teacher was wrong.

The question is whether "Marty's pizza is bigger" is *the only correct answer* — which it isn't (contrary to @hsifdlog135246's claim), because nowhere is it established that Marty limited his dining to his own pizza. (Just as it isn't established that Marty's and Luis' pizzas are the same size.)

If the student had answered "Marty ate some of someone else's pizza in addition to his own," then that answer would have been no less correct than the one that he gave.
