@NinoslavSafaric Kotor was never a part of Croatia though.
Greeks & Romans > Byzantine > Independent > Serbian > Autonomy under Venice > Occupation by France and then by Austro-Hungary > Yugoslavia (Zeta) > Montenegro.
They move to Germany simply because they don't have an option to go to the US.
Bosnian diaspora in the US is on average wealthier than in Germany, with better income and higher standard of living.
Same goes for the Serbian diaspora. Much wealthier, better education and higher living standard on average in the US than in Germany.
USA is simply far superior in every way.
Ravna Gora vec dodje neka Tribalija vlasko-bugarske krvi. ๐
Na teritoriju gde su mi koreni (Kotor, Budva, Cetinje) cesto dodjem i uvek sam docekan najbolje sto moze.
Licno poznajem i 100% Srbe nacionaliste iz CG, i 100% Crnogorce sa CT, i "umerene" Crnogorce srpskog jezika, itd, itd.
Mogu potvrditi da su svi zvanicno braca.
@EpiroteReport Accusing somebody else of the exact thing youโre doing wonโt help your case.
Illyrians were never mentioned in the Iliad anyway, and neither were Albanians.
Trying to steal and appropriate history of the Trojans of Dardanos city just confirms why nobody takes you seriously.
This is simply not true. I donโt know about the archaeology community, but you are 100% wrong on the Greeks and Greek history community.
Greeks in the US are not happy about this in the slightest. I know for a fact that here in MA nobody likes what Nolan is doing. Nobody. Check any US based Greek culture organization or publication and see what the reception is.
In Greece, Nolan even took $6mil of the taxpayersโ money. I donโt even need to begin to explain about the disappointment there right now.
The university professors and academics especially in the US are unwilling to go through political scrutiny and have their good name attacked over this and itโs completely understandable. From those that I know (both Greek descent and otherwise) nobody stands behind this kind of Odyssey.
Different story in Greece. Everyone is openly disappointed across the board. They were happy at first, opened their arms to Nolan and welcomed him and his high budget idea. Now, nobody agrees with this.
You are completely wrong and you are embarrassing yourself trying to equate everybody with online trolls and whatever labels you are putting on people.
@HellenicEchoes Hellenic Ministry of Culture should be handing entry bans for this. Starting with Nolan and getting back $6mil he stole from the Greek taxpayers.
@BlackIshgvm@greekcitytimes This is a shameless desecration of the Odyssey, Homer and overall Greek culture. It will not stand.
Free market will be the judge. My bet is that this garbage cast with garbage production will produce garbage ratings and reception.
Good thing is that we live in free market and not in Nolan's desired imaginary utopia. The market will speak, and his desecration of the Odyssey will fail.
Half of these words are made up and not similar to Slavic. Others like โMatarโ are generic Indo-European base words that are similar in every IE language, which includes Slavic.
Phrygian language was not closely related to Slavic at all. Its closest relative is ancient Greek language.
@soldierofpep The way these weird โclosenessโ calculations are going, next thing we know the Mongols will be the closest to the Greeks, and Koreans to Romans.
Exactly. They deliberately calculated the medium between majority ancient Greek and completely alien Slavic DNA on one side, while on the other side they put 1/2 ancient Greek and 1/2 Italic medium to make it overall closer to Greek.
Basically ignored that Greeks overall still have higher ancient Greek DNA than S. Italians. Also ignored that southern Greeks have 90% ancient Greek DNA.
Incorrect and deliberately misleading calculation formula, fake map and fake numbers.
