@dpapercrownd Wow you're painting this WITHIN VRoid studio? How do you keep it so clean... Do you touch it up in an art software afterwards or just do it all within this program?

@Daemitori I found especially for hair strands it's better to have physics under the XY turns so the hair deforms properly when physics are moving. Really goes to show hierarchy makes a difference

@NomuraAkane It doesn't work like that unless the model is the same proportions and all the assets were the same size. Someone did this and the quality sucked. It'd maybe be possible for a YCH model but I'd be more likely to understand they don't want to give away HOW they rig things.

i think going for just a pngtuber using inochi2d might be my best bet cause i am too tired to do a WHOLE model inbetween existing commissions..

@CutiepieRinRin I just feel like with the amount of money people are spending on their model they should have access to it. I've had clients come back for changes/additions despite giving them the file. But maybe my services are not as high tier to consider it liquid gold with secrets.

@CutiepieRinRin As someone who has rigged many models but gotten less time as I have a family now, I prefer to give my clients the freedom to edit and add onto their models. Also what happens if the rigger loses that project file? Then the original client is SOL and had no choice in the matter.

Anyone tried Inochi2D? Is it worth to be used instead of free version of L2D? 🤔

I want something to animate emotes or logos (or chibi giftuber models) but don't have money to buy full version of L2D.

@IkiW_Calastina Based on your most recent GIFtuber post Inochi2D can do that pretty easily! Depending on the animation I think Inochi2D should handle that

Inochi2D is still getting its foundation redone for version 0.9 but I plan on switching to it fully once my Live2D subscription runs out.

@slayza_vy As a Live2D rigger sometimes I wonder if I should have just learned 3D modeling so I can rig models to do this without all the black magic needed in Live2D to make side turns work 😅
