While moving houses, I had boxes of barely worn clothes, shoes and coats in my old house and I trashed every last one of them. Dealt with too many people especially Nigerians with crazy inferiority complex and projecting this on me to give any of my stuff to them.

My experience in the past week has made me see just how brave my princesses have been in this whole transition to a new country and environment particularly my first. I have not felt this ignored and different in my entire life and it’s disheartening tbh.

I don’t think what was done to her was ok. And I also don’t think her response or reaction to it is ok as well. But na adult she be so let her do as she pleases.

As an Ada myself who took on mummy roles from age 10,think the girl’s reaction is a tad overboard and the dragging unnecessary. Parenting a lot of the time is a continuous learning process and it’s important to extend some parents some measure of grace for mistakes made.

[the_authenticMimi @MimiMoneke]

As a mother now , I constantly avoid over burdening my kids with playing adults roles at home especially my first daughter. However there are a whole lot more resources available now to help us be better parents. And there are more effective ways of airing grievances than dragging

@Morris_Monye The fact that even the original video is lost alone is sad. We don't believe in saving even the most seemingly unimportant thing. That video should be in the archives somewhere but it's lost. God repair this nation

@_gbolahann0 My money is on the rhino. All the rest are lightweight. Plus the cost and fat in the polar bear alone would be it's downfall. It will overheat fast.
