Sometimes I disappear into my own little ghosting phase. I go quiet, stop answering messages, and pull back from everyone—not because I’m angry or trying to shut anyone out, but because sometimes I’m simply exhausted and need space to breathe. It’s never about not caring or pushing people away. Sometimes, when everything feels too heavy, going quiet is just how I cope.
I hope I meet my person by accident. No dating apps, no matchmaking, no one trying to set us up. Just two people living their own lives and somehow finding each other.
I don’t think people understand that some things change you permanently. There’s damage that an apology can’t undo and moments that permanently change the way you see someone. You can forgive someone without allowing them back into your life. Not everything deserves a second chance, no matter how sincere the apology is. Sometimes closure is accepting that what was broken was never meant to be rebuilt.
