@Peston What a disgusting take on all this carnage. My son was made redundant near the start of this after 12 years at the company. He has already got another job working for the 111 service to help out during the crisis whilst he looks for another job. Shame on you.
There was me thinking it was to protect businesses which are at present closed due to lock down or working at reduced capacity, whilst also protecting the people by allowing them to stay at home rather than risking their lives and the lives of others by venturing out to earn money
Virgin Atlantic seeks £500m of taxpayer cash “to survive the crisis”. This is the same business that condemned HMG for seeking to bail out Flybe; I suppose that was different for Branson because it wasn’t him. A bit tricky for the Gov’t to give our money to billionaire
Wishing @MaryLouMcDonald a peaceful, quick and steady recovery from COVID-19. Recovery as I experienced during it, can be longer than many expect. So I hope we can give her the space and room needed to recover in order to get back to the best possible health. #StayHome
I am watching president Trump now live on CNN 11.30 pm UK time. I think he is sick . He needs psychiatric treatment . He keeps shutting up journalist and shouting at them calling them liars .
@piersmorgan Please keep doing what you're doing. You appear to be the ONLY one holding them to account, the rest just accept their prepared statements and soundbites with NO answers to the questions we need answering. Thank you.
To those demanding I 'shut up' rather than continue to challenge Govt decisions re #coronavirus - no, I won't. But if you don't want to see my tweets, just unfollow me.
It's really not difficult, unless you're a total f*cking halfwit.
#PiersMorgan - How many #NHS workers & care workers have died because of #coronavirus?
Thérèse Coffey - I don't know the answer to that.
Piers Morgan - Why don't you know this stuff?... let me give you a bit of help...
#GMB
Hi Matthew, I guess it's because 1000s of people have died or are fighting for their lives from Coronavirus, incl dozens of NHS workers, & numerous people I know - and our Govt should have done so much more to curb the carnage.
@Cusstard @Soutiam21 The buck stops with the Government, they are in charge and make the final decisions. Advice is just that, it can be questioned and changed, in particular they were able to see, as we all were what was happening in countries ahead of us on the curve.
This is appalling crass arrogance. The country is facing a financial crisis and millions of us face uncertain futures, so Beatrice thinks it’s a good excuse to spend millions of taxpayers’ money on her wedding. Apparently to cheer us up.
