The team will be registering complaints and offering guidance on issues that can be addressed on the spot.

Meanwhile, speaking about my sector's plan for the East Coast corridor, I noted that plans are in progress for the acquisition of more lands to meet the demand.

𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟐 - Over 300 households within the communities of Waikabra and Hillfoot on the Linden-Soesdyke Highway will soon benefit from a new well.

GWI is also exploring the use of the community's tractor and trailer to transport water directly to the homes of residents.

Additionally, Ricks and Sari Agro Industries Ltd. has agreed to provide support to residents from their water supply system.

Some 20 families at Chineese Landing have also benefited from the supplies. A medical team was also dispatched to the area.

The Ministry of Housing and Water through the Central Housing & Planning Authority (CHPA) will be constructing the first 10 homes for families in Kokerite, Region One, as part of efforts to permanently relocate residents from flood-prone areas.

The Regional Chairman has also committed to providing assistance to clear lands identified for relocation.

During the outreach, my team and I also handed over food and cleaning supplies to the 34 households at Kokerite and mattresses for 14 persons, whose homes are inundated.
