Public service is extremely important but also means making great sacrifices to family life. I really am looking forward to spending more quality time with my family and friends as I start a new chapter in my life.

After 15 years of public service at both the provincial & municipal level of government, I’ve made the decision to not seek re-election & retire from politics. I have tendered my resignation from cabinet w/Premier Stefanson & will be stepping down as MLA within the next 2 weeks.
In closing, I especially want to thank my beautiful wife Michelle and my three children Paige, Brynn and Beck for standing by me as I pursued my dreams to run for office and work towards improving our city and province.
Congratulations to Anavets-Assiniboia Unit 283 being awarded $11K through the Military Memorials Conservation Grant!
The Military Memorials Conservation Fund program will support local legions and veterans’ associations to build war memorial conservation projects throughout MB.
MB is excited to be 1 of the first 3 provinces to jumpstart this important initiative that the federal gov’t started. We are committed to pursue other opportunities to grow our renewable energy sector, which will lead to economic growth and high-quality jobs in the province.
Today, I officially launched the Regional Energy and Resource Tables, a series of regional processes to position Canada, and Canadians, to take advantage of the massive economic opportunities that are available as we transition to a #netzero world.

Along with millions across Canada, we are wearing red today in honour of people and families living with disabilities. #RedShirtDay#RedForAccessABILITY
I’m honoured to stand with our Premier, @HStefansonMB and my @PCcaucus colleagues in support of Red Shirt Day. Our government stands with people and families living with disabilities and supports accessibility and inclusion for all Manitobans. #mbpoli
An honour to welcome Polish delegates, Deputy Speaker Małgorzata Gosiewska, Consul General of Poland, Magdalena Pszczółkowska, and staff yesterday. We shared an emotional conversation about the situation in Ukraine and we are united in our unwavering support for all Ukrainians.
Congratulations to Hudbay’s Flin Flon mine rescue team for taking home the gold medal at this year’s Manitoba Provincial Mine Competition!

#TodaysNDP chose to silence victims' voices.
They think it's no big deal that intoxication can now be used as a defense for sexual assault, domestic violence, and more.
I think that's just wrong. I'm extremely disappointed. And I think you should be too. #mbpoli
Today the @mbndp prevented a message from victims of violence by intoxicated offenders from getting through to Ottawa.
So disappointed that #TodaysNDP continue to welcome and support perpetrators of violence against women while failing to give victims a voice. #MBPoli
This morning the @mbndp refused to support a resolution that called on Ottawa to amend the Criminal Code to prohibit the use of voluntary extreme intoxication as a defence in cases of violence against women, children, seniors and other vulnerable people. #TodaysNDP#MBPoli
My office is always open, especially to these four-legged friends!
Thanks Christy Dzikowicz, @TobaCentre, Booster & Duke for stopping by and for all you and your team do to help children and their families.
“One can hope that this bill can become law sooner rather than later as it would help bring Manitoba into the 21st century when it comes to liquor sales.”
