“There’s a song called tomorrow, most people don’t know about it, it’s one of the B-side tracks, and only our fans know about it. I really like that song, because I wrote it in high school. I wrote the beat and stuff when I was a trainee. It was released after we debuted. I actually wrote the melody and the lyrics when I was in hospital, after my appendix burst. The song itself has a hopeful tone. I really love this song. I’m not saying it’s my absolute favourite. But I keep thinking about it.”

Namjoon shared “Untitled (Portrait of Ross in L.A.)” (1991) by Felix Gonzalez-Torres 💔

This installation consists of a pile of brightly wrapped candies poured into a gallery corner. The ideal weight of the pile is exactly 175 pounds, which matched his partner’s, Ross Laycock, healthy body weight. Visitors are encouraged to take a piece of candy. As the pile diminishes, it mirrors Ross’s weight loss and fading health. However, the artist stipulated that the gallery must replenish the candies daily, metaphorically granting his lover eternal life and rejuvenation.

“ele estava com outro rapaz, e o namjoon estava explicando os quadros um por um para ele. de repente, ouviu-se um “SSSHHHH” (o segurança pedindo silêncio), e o coitado se virou algumas vezes, todo confuso. 😭 ele viveu a experiência completa de visitar o Prado. só quando ele saiu da sala é que eu percebi que havia mais ARMYs ali, porque todas nós estávamos…completamente paralisadas. fiquei muito feliz ao ver que todas nós respeitamos o espaço dele (pelo menos na sala em que eu estava). e, embora ele provavelmente tenha percebido que havia várias garotas fazendo o “mannequin challenge” (ou seja, completamente imóveis para não chamar atenção), ele foi vendo os quadros com calma, sem pressa. 🫶🏻”
