REPEATED MIC FAILURES. NO RESPONSE FROM THE COMPANY. IF WE STAY SILENT, WHO WILL SPEAK UP FOR MARTIN ?
At just 18, Martin has spent six years of his youth away from home, working toward the day he could finally stand beneath the stage lights and proudly say:
“𝐼 𝑤𝑎𝑛𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑤ℎ𝑜𝑙𝑒 𝑤𝑜𝑟𝑙𝑑 𝑡𝑜 𝑘𝑛𝑜𝑤 𝑚𝑦 𝑛𝑎𝑚𝑒.”
Yet since his debut, Martin’s journey has been repeatedly disrupted by an issue that should never have happened this many times: microphone failures.
As fans, WE REFUSE TO STAY SILENT.
The repeated microphone failures during Martin’s performances are a SERIOUS FAILURE on the company’s part, and speaking up is necessary to protect MARTIN’S CAREER AND REPUTATION.
1. 14 MIC FAILURES IN LESS THAN A YEAR — AND IT’S NOT JUST THE LOUD PARTS
Since Martin’s debut in December 2025, his microphone has failed 14 times in less than a year. These incidents have happened not only during high-intensity performances, but also during parts delivered at moderate volume — including his rap sections in Fashion and MOTION, as well as his iconic high note in What You Want.
At Allo Fest, his voice was clearly captured in the live recording, yet was barely audible at the venue itself.
Martin has built a reputation for his distinctive rap flow, powerful vocals, effortless note changes, and striking high notes — moments that have repeatedly gone viral and even become trending sounds on TikTok, Douyin, and other platforms.
When the very moments that showcase his strengths are repeatedly compromised by technical failures, the impact on his career cannot simply be dismissed.
2. AUDIO QUALITY IS THE COMPANY’S RESPONSIBILITY — NOT ARTIST’S
Soundcheck, equipment testing, and ensuring that all technical equipment is properly set up and compatible are basic parts of professional live production.
Yet Martin has repeatedly been left to adjust his vocals, push through technical failures, and salvage his performances when his mic cuts out. Having to work around the same problem 14 times is not something an artist should be expected to simply endure.
What makes this even more concerning is the growing tendency to normalize these failures and shift the blame onto Martin, with claims such as, “The mic couldn’t pick up his voice because he sang too loudly” or “The mic broke because he screamed too hard.”
Without a proper technical assessment, these claims are nothing more than speculation. They become even harder to justify when similar failures have occurred during fan interactions and rap sections performed at ordinary volume.
Spreading unverified explanations risks creating a false narrative around what actually happened — while placing even more pressure on the person already bearing the consequences: the artist himself.
The issue here is not about assigning blame without evidence. It is about recognizing a pattern that can no longer be brushed aside: these repeated failures have become a recurring problem under the company’s management.
3. NORMALIZING THESE FAILURES PUTS MARTIN’S VOICE AND CAREER AT RISK
And yet, despite every effort from Martin and his fans, the same problem keeps happening.
We do not want the fandom to live in a constant state of frustration and anxiety. But 14 mic failures should never become a number we learn to accept.
Because once repeated failures become “normal,” the standard starts to shift. We stop asking why Martin’s mic keeps cutting out and start hoping that it simply won’t happen next time.
We lower the standard for what a professional stage should be. We find ourselves hoping for something that should never have been in question in the first place:
that Martin can simply sing, be heard, and finish his performance.
