The purpose of visiting Malmo was to talk about a research project regarding seafarer protection with a professor at WMU. It is a very fruitful meeting for me to collaborate with the researcher. Thank you very much!

I tried the MAX Hamburger in Sweden for the first time because I heard it originated in this country. It was so spicy and so good! I also want to recommend these crispy potatoes, my favourite French fries.

Should we distinguish the role of the SOLAS Convention and the MLC2006 from the viewpoint of maritime labour protection? I especially think so after checking the meeting of JTWG on protection from harassment on board in the IMO.

When I went to a stationary shop, I found a technical pencil named "Dr Grip" made in Japan that sold. While the Dr Grip is generally sold for about 3 USD in Japan, that price is about 20 USD in Sweden.

Yesterday, I arrived in London to attend the IMO meeting about the MASS. This will be the first time to visit the IMO. And 20 years have passed since the last came to London.

This weekend, I will fly to London to attend an international meeting. That visit will be the second time for me. It has been a while since the last time, 20 years ago.
