pretty basic stuff here but the core systems are functioning! stoked to reveal some of the characteristics that make this one a little different from the pack
@helonegimiso Just been watching gundam 00 the last little bit and I quite enjoyed the menacing appearance of it! Will probably have to lift a bit of design influence :D
third-person view getting established, jump and glide modes in-play... gotta add some thruster VFX there, but it's pretty fun to fiddle with! still some jank to sort out of course
@ggsimm Claude makes me a lot of code things! Still a ways off from main gameplay loops, been building out tools and systems, but vibe coding has extended what I could do before by light years - now the stretch feature goals are mostly built.

@UBadler Yeah like the other things I have ingame right now; i rig in Blender then set up a procedural IK rig, record directional motion animation in UE, bake to VAT for swarm units and keep the IK for player-controller hero units :)
Feeling a bit uninspired, but it'll do for now I guess! Staying cheap at 13k tris, thinking this'll be at the next scale of bigness, ~16m or so. Am I too cheap using 128-512px textures on my smaller unit parts? Time will tell I guess :P
@MoonWalkerLD Haha well I might have to do a higher rez pass anyway for mechbay closeups, don't have to have loaded for gameplay though ^_^ good to stay thrifty though if I want all modes playable on lower-end hardware!
@BrownCoyoteStu Cheers thanks! Player char gets the fully procedural IK treatment so it should come out decent :D Baked VAT anims for the horde bwhaha ^_^
@rrfarmer Thank you! Still quite a ways to go, but it's taking shape! Will try and get the Steam page up as soon as I can properly show a couple of the different gameplay modes :)
@LaraOnRockets Glad ya dig it! I mean MW5 has building destruction, I might not be going as high-rez per mech, but gotta keep up. Guess AC6 doesn't though :P Lots more features to come, the factorio influence isn't very visible yet ;)
