Let us dare to dream that war is not the only story we pass on. Because in the end, it takes community to bring back the light. What an emotive performance!
Thank you @mindleaps for that! 🙌🥳

Eleder attends a deaf school, she was a shy girl who didn’t smile until she was encouraged to join a dance group run by our partners @mindleaps and supported by @ComicRelief to help with her confidence. With the dance group, she has now gained the confidence to smile again😊 💃🏿

It’s a wrap!
In Rwanda, our team concluded an enrichment program with 10 days of training to refresh the skills of our youth trainers in Mugombwa Refugee Camp. These trainers work with 60 children to build their social-emotional learning skills through movement and dance.
Back to School!
Most students in Guinea will start the new academic year in October, but some of our kids are studying at Harounaya, the English immersion school. These MindLeaps children gathered together with their parents to receive their school supplies at our Center.
MindLeaps Rwanda alumnae Alice is flying high in Mugombwa Refugee Camp. After graduating from high school, she’s joined the Train The Trainer team to empower our young instructors who are running our dance program in the camps.

Yesterday, Younoussa arrived in Uganda! Younoussa is MindLeaps Program Coordinator in Guinea, and this is his first time traveling outside of his home country. He will be working with Team Uganda for the next three weeks to share best practices across two of our African teams.
Today is #WomensEquality Day! We want to take the time to acknowledge all the contributions made by the women on our team and around the world. Let’s nurture and celebrate an environment where empowerment isn’t a fight but a birthright.
Look at this team that keeps our children healthy and strong in Guinea!
In Conakry, MindLeaps serves breakfast and lunch to 80-150 children per day at our center. Trainer Alpha works with Mme Thiam and Mme Hassanatou to make sure the food gets distributed.
