@tcgberries Thank you fam. Aped some more into the chart.
This is the start of my one piece collection tbh.
I see the most upside in one piece and I’m aiming to stack physicals and hodl!
Someone with only 0.1% of the supply just won $27k of pokemon.
With a 1st edition charizard as the top slab.

still building the position but will be writing a complete thesis later on why $gacha is the best complement to $cards
for now I’ll say this about the problem it cleverly solves:
buying Pokémon packs via retail is largely -EV and is very cost ineffective for collectors
most collectors go straight to buying graded slabs to skip spending a vast amount of cash on packs with slim odds at pulling something valuable
the issue is that ripping packs for shiny cardboard is addicting asf and we all love it
so why $gacha makes sense is because you get the addictive loop of ripping packs without the -EV of hunting for valuable cards yourself
instead you’re rewarded with real graded slabs delivered straight to your wallet via $cards
then you cash out by initiating shipment of the physical Pokémon card to wherever or by instant sell via usdc
tldr = maximize the fun and returns, minimize the broken cost of the hobby
