@StuartHameroff False and unsupported on every count. To be clear, though, I do not think Hameroff is intentionally misleading us. He is just not a scientist and not a critical thinker. He cannot be trusted intellectually.

@StuartHameroff Professor Seth is showing grace in dealing with someone who is not even close to his league. Hameroff should not be allowed on the same stage as Seth and Koch. He has *zero* empirical support for his theory… and it is just sad when he shares PubMed links thinking he does.

@StuartHameroff Professor Seth is kind and diplomatic, but he should not be treating Hameroff as his equal or respond with seriousness. Intellectually, Hameroff is an unserious hack and his theory is going nowhere… and he knows this, which is why he is so immature and aggressive.

@StuartHameroff For those who do not know better- Hameroff does but chooses to be unfair- theories like GNW and IIT focus on networks (with trillions of synapses), not neurons. Hameroff ignores other forms of evidence and argues for a “cartoon network” behaving like a single quantum particle.
