DMZ 2 finally gives players something meaningful to grind for between matches.
Your Forward Operating Base becomes your home, letting you unlock upgrades, improve your stash, craft gear, and invest in long-term progression.
This is exactly what DMZ 1 was missing. ๐

@ThatARCGuy Oh I hope the binoculars aren't like the spotter scope. Those things were a legit hack, you had to use them or you barely spot anyone. (Yes, I definitely used them lol).
NEW: OFFICIAL MW4 DMZ GAMEPLAY DETAILS:
- 3 modes: Story Missions, Dynamic Operations, Free Roam
- 60 players in 3-player squads
- Dynamic weather (rain, snow, fog, wind) that worsens over time
- New Forward Operating Base (FOB) hub for buying, crafting, and weapon customization
- Enhanced loot system with extractable materials and resources for the 3D printer in the FOB
- Individual Operator progression with unlockable traits
- New MIA system: rescue fallen Operators for cash
- New Bounty System: Killing players builds reputation, placing bounties on high-kill Operators and rewarding those who take them down.
- Wanted & Leaderboards: Top killers become "Wanted" targets for bounty hunters; weekly global and friend leaderboards track the best hunters and killers.
Out of all the info released for DMZ. This has to be my least favorite. Weapon durability is not something I want to think about playing a COD game ๐ฅด๐ฅด

DMZ will feature "damaged weapons, unstable weapon components, and improvised field repairs that affect both appearance and handling".
These will be dropped by enemy AI, with high value lieutenants carrying "uniquely customized weapons featuring attachments and camouflage finishes."
