@JoeBarnby @recordunion @robgpoole Responsible reporting (as per this headline) also important. Recent study in teenagers found relatively high rate of traumatic experience, but this was reported as ‘PTSD’, which isn’t helpful.

@JoeBarnby @recordunion This is an important issue for musicians Joe. One suggestion would be for more robust research to tease out the rates of disorders at a diagnostic threshold. Conflation of everyday stress and anxiety with mental disorder can be misleading. @robgpoole May have some ideas also.
