Happy International Women's Day! In 1898, Florence Caldwell became the first woman to graduate Mines and since then over 6,000 women have followed in her footsteps. As a part of her legacy, Mines sponsors the Florence Caldwell Scholarship to first year students.
In celebration of #InternationalWomensDay we want to congratulate @coschoolofmines community members who were recognized during the Women of Mines summit. The awards recognize exceptional women who are leaders in their fields & who empower other women to achieve their goals.
Today Mines officials broke ground on a new 50,938-square-foot classroom building and parking garage, expected to be completed in late Fall 2024. The building will include nine new classrooms and approximately 870 parking spaces for the campus community.
