Addicted individuals can't expect help to fall onto their laps. They have to actively go out and seek it: the choice.

@mkmitchell1970 @ZssBecker Some have food addictions, and it's not "a simple nope." It's a hard nope.

It's much harder for those with these addictions. But you can still CHOOSE to fight that addiction or take the easy route and submit.

So yes, it's not easy, but it's still a decision.
