Hm... dont think it is weird. I have no idea what happens inside Megaeth but from outside it looks like that - almost complete silence, limiting external contacts, focusing inwards.. it is not a normal behavior for a public chain.
> Going forward we intend to have a more-focused approach on where we direct our time and energy, which includes focusing that time and energy on ourselves and what we can bring to market.
Are you sure it is not an acceptance of defeat and self isolation out of fear to make more mistakes?
I was thinking you are a platform for realtime apps. And it means you put effort outside, help other, not focus inwards...
@JoestarCrypto@Euphoria_fi The number of wallets is always around 1000 for euphoria. I am not sure if it is a very stable user base or some kind of wallets pool..
They really need to find app types (maybe invent new) that can utilize the features of the network and become popular, not reproducible on other chains.
Currently it is mostly something gamble related, which is a bit sad.
MOSS may help, but it is just a helper, I do not see how MOSS alone can bring users.
MegaETH usage stats have continued to decline following the Terminal closure.
Activity levels appear to be returning to pre-TGE figures.

Our AI generated digest also detected the drop in activity after terminal closure.
As most of transactions on MegaETH are automatic oracles-related activity the drop looks not that sharp. But 3.5 average TPS decrease is a significant part of real user activity on chain.
Graphs also show that prior to Terminal closure TPS was growing (probably because of new apps like @Euphoria_fi ) but the number of unique wallets was stagnating - Terminal was not bringing new users to the chain.
We will continue monitoring the state of MegaETH.
The effect of shutting down MegaETH Terminal is visible on activity charts.
During Terminal program non-oracle activity was around 7-8 TPS and now dropped to 3-4 TPS
When looking at network stats I agree that terminal may be not the best idea and needed some rework or even closure. But it feels a bit abrupt and not fully communicated, lots of questions and frustration.
Also side effect on NFTs is brutal. MegaETH has not that many collections and I hope they will compensate it to holders somehow to not kill NFTs completely..
