The mother of Hind Rajab, Wesam Hamada, made her appearance during the opening of the Doha Film Festival.
She spoke on stage before the screening of the film ‘Voice of Hind Rajab.’
“I lost my beloved daughter but I did not lose my humanity…save the children of Gaza”
I had you with me 💕 I’m so proud of your amazing art! Everyone loved your art and is amazed by it! Thanks to Sarah Alsharif, Rahaf, Ahmed Madi, Rana, Shahed, Luna Hamdan and anfal you are amazing!
This is my will and my final message. If these words reach you, know that Israel has succeeded in killing me and silencing my voice. First, peace be upon you and Allah’s mercy and blessings.
Allah knows I gave every effort and all my strength to be a support and a voice for my people, ever since I opened my eyes to life in the alleys and streets of the Jabalia refugee camp. My hope was that Allah would extend my life so I could return with my family and loved ones to our original town of occupied Asqalan (Al-Majdal). But Allah’s will came first, and His decree is final. I have lived through pain in all its details, tasted suffering and loss many times, yet I never once hesitated to convey the truth as it is, without distortion or falsification—so that Allah may bear witness against those who stayed silent, those who accepted our killing, those who choked our breath, and whose hearts were unmoved by the scattered remains of our children and women, doing nothing to stop the massacre that our people have faced for more than a year and a half.
I entrust you with Palestine—the jewel in the crown of the Muslim world, the heartbeat of every free person in this world. I entrust you with its people, with its wronged and innocent children who never had the time to dream or live in safety and peace. Their pure bodies were crushed under thousands of tons of Israeli bombs and missiles, torn apart and scattered across the walls.
I urge you not to let chains silence you, nor borders restrain you. Be bridges toward the liberation of the land and its people, until the sun of dignity and freedom rises over our stolen homeland. I entrust you to take care of my family. I entrust you with my beloved daughter Sham, the light of my eyes, whom I never got the chance to watch grow up as I had dreamed.
I entrust you with my dear son Salah, whom I had wished to support and accompany through life until he grew strong enough to carry my burden and continue the mission.
I entrust you with my beloved mother, whose blessed prayers brought me to where I am, whose supplications were my fortress and whose light guided my path. I pray that Allah grants her strength and rewards her on my behalf with the best of rewards.
I also entrust you with my lifelong companion, my beloved wife, Umm Salah (Bayan), from whom the war separated me for many long days and months. Yet she remained faithful to our bond, steadfast as the trunk of an olive tree that does not bend—patient, trusting in Allah, and carrying the responsibility in my absence with all her strength and faith.
I urge you to stand by them, to be their support after Allah Almighty. If I die, I die steadfast upon my principles. I testify before Allah that I am content with His decree, certain of meeting Him, and assured that what is with Allah is better and everlasting.
O Allah, accept me among the martyrs, forgive my past and future sins, and make my blood a light that illuminates the path of freedom for my people and my family. Forgive me if I have fallen short, and pray for me with mercy, for I kept my promise and never changed or betrayed it.
Do not forget Gaza… And do not forget me in your sincere prayers for forgiveness and acceptance.

This is what our beloved Anas requested to be published upon his martyrdom.
Citizens are calling on the Olympic committee to ban Israel while the assault on Gaza continues. I’ve just signed the petition to support the ban - will you add your name too? https://t.co/QZlfnhd6Zk
Palestinian journalist Bisan Owda: so here is my message:
“Dear brothers and sisters in humanity, we are living in a dirty, ugly unfortunate world and in its worst era, I have never seen all of you or hear your stories, life struggles and hopes but I truly believe that standing for Gaza - Palestine is also standing for your lives and families, the devil is the same, capitalism and capitals.. colonialism and colonisers and their belief that they own us and our world.. and that it’s ok to plan everything related to us and our children years before we find out the disaster (NAKBA) we are all in!!! Hhhh when the real designers die then the next colonisers start apologising and condemning, and continue to fool us.. Colonisers are not creative.
They told us that there is no Palestine and it’s only Israeli defending itself! And that Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Yemen, Sudan, Libya and much more countries need liberation, they gave themselves the credit to kill us or to support our killers and to destroy our lands, BUT after years, what happened? No liberation, freedom, welfare, life or even peace! They are getting richer and building empires over our bodies, after stealing our wealths then making sure that there is no unity to stop them!
Brothers and sisters we have a historical chance and maybe the last one to change our future and take over the role of our countries and our lives! To become a united nations (real not the lie of 🇺🇳), Gaza awakened the world, but how many times a genocide must be committed to awaken us!
Why I am saying this? Because they are also controlling what should we and shouldn’t tell or post, they can let nudity and drugs out but they will never let the truth out because it is more dangerous."
Keep pushing we must destroy centuries of lies.
Long live Palestine, Long live Gaza, Long live our martyrs.”
I am on the cover but I am the last one to receive it.
2023 man of the year by @GQMiddleEast magazine.
I never thought I would see it in person, but I made it.
Believe me or not, the moment I received a message that I have been selected to be man of they year by one of the most important magazines in the world, I couldn’t care less about it.
As I wasn’t sure I would survive the brutal aggression on my beloved Gaza by Israeli occupation.
All I cared about is to survive and show the world the raw realities.
I even couldn’t be able to thank who appreciates me and support me.
I was in a miserable situation for the last 107 days, and believe me I’m not in my best situation for now.
Thanks for GQ Middle East and thanks for the people who shared their words about me through the magazine., this was really nice surprise.
