With heavy hearts, we have to announce the passing of Andrew "Drew" Taylor, the visionary founder of Space Intelligence and our dear leader and close friend.

At just 33 years old, Drew left us on October 20, 2025, in his beloved Oceanside, California, after a courageous battle with longstanding health challenges.

Born with an innate curiosity that turned backyard stargazing into a lifelong mission, Drew launched Space Intelligence in late 2019 as a simple passion project—a platform to deliver the latest in worldwide aerospace news.

What began as one man's urge to connect fellow explorers quickly blossomed into a vibrant community of thousands, fostering discussions and spreading interest in space.

Through it all, Drew's health trials tested him deeply, yet they only fueled his resolve. He poured his heart into Space Intelligence not just as a founder, but as a true steward of its spirit, nurturing the people and ideas that made it thrive.

He believed space wasn't just for scientists or astronauts; it was for everyone who dared to look up and imagine.

Drew is survived by the extended family he built in the space community—a constellation of friends, followers, and fellow dreamers who carry his legacy forward.

In his honor, we pledge to keep the engines firing: spreading the love of space exploration, amplifying the voices of innovation, and never forgetting the extraordinary soul who made Space Intelligence a reality.

Our hearts ache especially for Drew's immediate family and loved ones. We send them our prayers and the comfort of shared memories.

Rest among the stars, Drew. We miss you, but will never forget you.
