The Audacity of this assaulter to touch her on the first publicly tells a lot what could have happened to the female doctor if she was alone !
God bless the medical professionals of the country
It’s a deep state no lesser than apocalypse for doctors !
So, NEET results are finally out! I'm still trying to process everything that's happened over the past few weeks.
Just 10 days before my exam, my dad suffered a heart attack. He was diagnosed with TVD, a 100% blockage in his RCA. All this with a history of stroke just 2 years ago. Tried #PTCA, but it was unsuccessful due to the diffuse and thrombotic nature of the blockage. Moving him to higher center was too risky since it was complete block, so we had to settle for #POBA (plain old balloon angioplasty) for time being.
Meanwhile, my mom fell severely ill with a viral infection and joint pain. Got done her dengue test. I spent days in the hospital with my dad, and then came home to take care of my mom.
As the eldest daughter, I had to be strong and manage everything on my own. Eventually I had to be the decision maker. That stress along with the exam stress. I was convinced I wouldn't be able to give my exam, but my brother insisted me to atleast attempt the exam without the fear of outcome. I gathered strength to book my tickets on the 9th evening (exam on 11th) and left on the same night.
And now, my rank is worse than last time. I'm still trying to come to terms with it, but it's hard not to feel disappointed.
Working hard for 7 months while juggling a job, only to face a devastating setback just 10 days before my crucial exams, was a nightmare come true. It felt like all my efforts were in vain. The timing couldn't have been worse. I was on the verge of finalizing my preparations, and this unexpected blow threw everything off balance. Every NEET PG aspirant knows the importance of last revision. I had decided to work only with the thought that I’ll take leave during last few days of exam.
The stress and anxiety have taken a toll on me. But despite everything, I know this isn't the end of my journey. I'll take my time to figure out what's next, maybe try again next year. Soaking the result and giving myself enough time to absorb things. Will think of it in a day or two.
Right now, I’m happy and satisfied with my job. This is what i feel, you plan something and god plans something else.
Reached a point of emotional maturity & humbled enough where I can handle anything life throws my way.
Special special thanks to my friends who despite having their exam too, were with me in the hospital & just a call away.
Just pray that my dad is cured with antiplatelets and he doesn’t have to undergo by pass surgery next month.
Life is beyond the confines of NEET PG. To everyone who made through this rat race- HUGE CONGRATULATIONS 🥳
To everyone who didn’t- The twists and turns we face make us humble, to be grateful for every breath, every moment, and every opportunity. Don’t be hard on yourself. Give yourself time to process things. You already are a Doctor which 24 lakh students were aspiring to be.
For now, I'm just grateful to have atleast made it through this tough time.
#NEETPG
It's crazy.
None of the people I considered friends all through my MBBS has congratulated or even liked my post about my rank.
That friendship was soo toxic , and I can still feel the hate , 2 years later.
Requesting all the media houses to take this issue on priority basis
I have received huge number of messages from across the country saying there are huge discrepancies in the marks they calculated vs what they have got !

Just a thought
Though parents, uncle aunties send good morning or good night wishes everyday, earlier I thought how cringe it is, but atleast they are in contact with each other, the concern when someone is not replying
But now days ek hi ka reply milna mushkil hota hai...
My deepest sympathies to the resident doctor Abhaya of RG Kar Medical College of Kolkata, India and I strongly support the protest against the devastating violence and abuse of doctors in India
Being back to those Twitter days when people used to write poems , sarcasm , one line puns and genuine stories on this platform .
Now it seems as if I have opened a news channel !
