@Veno53@knock_ut Mihawk IS a side character with no major narrative significance other than being a part of another characters story. Also, Zoro's dream isn't important for the plot. His vow to Luffy (to never loose against another swordsman) is but not becoming the best.
@ry00ne@endofdayzzz_@ClairvoyantEye1 Many will do at, least with the black blade. Mihawk himself said it's only Haki and anyone with a bit of skill can do it. They just won't show it since it would take away the uniqueness of his blade.
@StrawhatUFO Might be a fancy decoration? Like in RL? I mean Salome(Hancock's snake) also wears such a skull. Guess we'll have to wait IF this will be answered.
@ThisIsM38@Lanzdoe787 @usertwoway Because Mihawk was inspired by Count Dracula and the musketeers, a french military group. It's just logical that he also has the speech pattern. Besides, those ring eyes are a common thing in one piece as many characters have this. It's a tool to show how dangerous they are.
