@Trydeth He's 15.5 now. Cardiomyopathy is apparently something that mostly shows up late. You'll notice it by your baby acting just a smidge off, but not enough to be so different from their normal. For us, we thought he had a simple cold and arthritis that he was already diagnosed w/. 😭

Update! THE DOCTOR SAID HE'S DOING VERY WELL!! 😭😭😭✨️❤️✨️❤️✨️❤️✨️ He keeps looking at everyone with his big ol' cute eyes when they pass and they love it! I'm gonna just pass from joy AHHHHHH!!!

I talked about my son A LOT here so, please keep my boyyo in your prayers/cheer him on. He was diagnosed yesterday with cardiomyopathy or heart disease. He's late stage (not latest stage luckily). He survived the night (didn't go critical) and will be put on dieretics. 🤞🏾

But honestly, I'm a mess right now. I know he's old...but I'm not ready. The only thing dieretics will do is give him some time. 🤞🏾1-2yrs, but that's NOT a given. He's spending time at the vet today, but I get to take him home officially at 4:30. Fuck 💔

He's super alert and is still mobile. Still chirps and purrs like a boat. Just a scraggly gurgling boat from the fluid buildup in his chest. The dieretics will help him piss it all out! But he is also crazy constipated so hopefully it'll help with that too! He's a fighter yall!
