Fuck off Gary - you havn't helped one bit and quite frankly Manchester United supporters are sick to death of hearing your opinions.
18 months ago it was "Manchester United need a manager with a system"
Now its "Manchester United need a manager that fits the DNA of the club"
How's about Manchester United need the Glazers to fully fuck off?
How about stop telling Manchester United what they need when you can't even sort out Salford?
How's about Manchester United need you and your shitty employers to stop obsessing and over analysing everything the Utd manager does?
How about being fair in your punditry and treating managers of United how you treat managers of Spurs, Liverpool and just about every other club?
Just a thought?
— Under Mourinho (4-2-3-1): “Outdated. Parking the bus.”
— Under Ole (4-2-3-1): “No tactics, just individual brilliance.”
— Under Rangnick (4-2-2-2): “What even is this diamond nonsense?”
— Under Ten Hag (4-2-3-1 / 4-3-3): “Boring. Disrespected Ronaldo. Finished De Gea.”
— Under Amorim (3-4-2-1): “This system doesn’t work. Change the formation!”
Different managers. Different systems. Same noise.
The only real constant?
Fans arguing about tactics and the media running the same old narrative.
So what’s the actual problem at Manchester United — and why can’t we find real consistency as a football club? 👇
🚨Bruno Fernandes for club and country:
17/18: 34 G/A (16G, 18A)
18/19: 51 G/A (33G, 18A)
19/20: 51 G/A (28G, 23A)
20/21: 45 G/A (28G, 17A)
21/22: 30 G/A (14G, 16A)
22/23: 33 G/A (16G, 17A)
23/24: 29 G/A (16G, 13A)
24/25: 44 G/A (22G, 22A)
25/26: 14 G/A (7G, 7A)
Total: 331 G/A (180G, 151A)
Bruno’s Manchester United record:
306 games
102 goals
92 assists
Among Premier League midfielders this season:
🥇 Most shot-creating actions (97)
🥇 Most chances created (45)
🥇 Most through balls (15)
🥇 Most goal-creating actions (9)
🥇 Most goal involvements (10)
🥇 Most assists (6)
No midfielder in world football replicates what Bruno delivers in this setup, especially while playing in a deeper role. The crazy thing is that the last time he operated as a proper No.10 in front of two midfielders was in the 22/23 season. The level of creation, ball progression and ball recovery we demand from him shouldn’t be asked of any player, yet only Bruno can handle those responsibilities.
When you look at the numbers, his output is right up there with KDB’s and that’s despite spending large stretches of his career in deeper, more defensive positions. Put Bruno in another elite side and the conversation around him would be completely different.
If Bruno ever leaves, you’d need multiple signings across different positions to replace his contribution on the pitch.
It was a good decision from Amorim to push for Bruno to stay over the summer. No amount of money could replace what he brings to Manchester United on and off the pitch. Legend. 💯 #MUFC
🚨I see too many issues with the team that won't be fixed with a magic wand and a new manager and here is why!
[LONG READ]👇
The Premier League Is tough this season, It’s not just us. We’re two points behind Chelsea, who’ve spent £2bn+ in the last two years, have a superior squad, and sack their manager almost every season. Is that what our fans want? It certainly feels like it.
Liverpool have spent a gazillion and are somehow level with us. Spurs and Newcastle, both touted as having managers people wanted to replace Amorim with, are behind us.
It’s a funny league — we’ve won games we’d’ve expected to lose and lost games we’d’ve expected to win. Add a few unlucky results, unforced goalkeeper errors, and poor refereeing decisions, and overall, we’re about where most expected: within touching distance of 4th, competing with five or six other sides for that spot.
Midfield: We all knew it wasn’t good enough last season — and it’s gotten worse.
Eriksen gone.
Casemiro another year older.
Bruno clearly off-form.
Ugarte zero confidence.
Mainoo has a lot of talent but clearly out of form due to limited playing time.
Honestly, there are about 10+ teams with better midfield duos that would suit our system better. It’s not a top-four midfield, and that’s a massive issue. The club knows this and is targeting signings. Not sure what more people expect — it’s not fantasy football.
Defence: Injuries to Maguire, De Ligt, and Martínez have forced a ton of reshuffling. The Dalot/Dorgu inconsistency at LWB hasn’t helped either. This system needs braver CBs who can carry the ball, and right now, we don’t have that. De Ligt has improved, Yoro is still learning, and Martínez — easily our best on the ball — is just returning from long term injury. Amorim hasn’t signed a single CB yet, but you can bet he wants one. Dorgu has potential, but he’s nowhere near the finished article.
Attack: Bruno has missed the most big chances in the league — right behind Haaland and Mateta. He vacates midfield too often to get into scoring positions, which leaves us vulnerable in transition and just isn't scoring when we need big player to stand up.
Cunha and Mbuemo have both dipped in form but looked better alongside Šeško, who holds up the ball and links play well. Thankfully, he’s back in two weeks.
Zirkzee isn’t a 9 or 10, and despite his size, doesn’t hold the ball up effectively.
Amad has been one of our best wing-backs and consistently finds space, but his decision-making lets him down. It’s not a tactical flaw — he just needs to sharpen his end product.
A new manager coming in is just another transfer wishlist and another 12 months of patience.
Why not just get behind Ruben until he has at least signed a new midfield and half completed the squad refresh. Post Ten Hag we had one of the worst United sides I've ever seen and we've since signed 4 players. It's not enough and we're still dealing with past issues which compound each season.
Patience isn't easy, but I can't help but feel it's necessary right now. If you think this squad is the finished article and should be 10 points better off competing with Arsenal and City, you're a donut.
I also have lost my mind on some of the games/decision making of Ruben Amorim lately but i don’t want to start over with a rebuild and i wanna give him a chance as i don’t think a manager can be ‘BAD’ overnight. #MUFC

The media through ALL of this:“Manager has lost the dressing room.”
The only thing that never changes at this club: Fans arguing about tactics and the media running the same tired storyline over and over again. Different managers, different players… same cycle every year.
What’s the real problem and how can we solve it? 👇
Back in January 2024 United played with a back 4 of Lindelof-Evans-Maguire-AWB — and the media narrative was ’how can they not be better than this despite spending millions?’
Liverpool has spent 500m this summer as the reigning champ and got their top 3 CBs healthy in Van Dijk, Konate and Gomez — and they must invest at CB this January and they will also probably sign Semenyo.
What did United do in January 2024 — well, they weren’t idle. They cancelled the loan of Regulion to save money.
Media gas light United fans and stupid pundits into believing that the Glazers support the club when it’s the opposite. All you need to do is read the Annual reports available at the Companies House and it’s extremely clear that Liverpool de facto have had a higher player wage bill than United since 2018. This year Liverpool will literary pay their players twice as much in wages as United’s players earns.
Yet BBC and other fake media news outlets won’t say a word about all United fans being screwed over by extremely greedy owners who have robbed the fans year after year after year. Facts are that United owners has taken over a billion pounds from the fans and put in their own pockets — while every other PL club instead have had millions and in some cases billions injected to them by their owners.
It’s a tragedy and dishonesty on so many levels.
