The Borno State Governor, Prof. Engr. Babagana Umara MNI has approved the Retirement Age of lecturers of 9 tertiary Institutions to 65yrs of age or 40yrs of service whichever one come first wef form 9th Nov. 2020. The Colleges involved are as follows, Ramat Poly, KICOE MAID.

The Borno State Special School established over two decades ago,only provide learning opportunity to the blind and had never been looked into in terms infrastructure
Presently the Ministry Constructed a new complex of 12 classrooms 4 offices and Vip toilet in the Deaf school to enroll primary 1-6 and JSS 1-6 Deaf students.
Also the existing infrastructures in the Special school was remodeled to befitting state which include 13 Classrooms,
to intervene and implement the process of opening new NIMC enrolment Centres in the state.
To that regard, the Hon. Commissioner participated in the flagging up of the new 28 registration centres within MMC and Jere.

It was recall that on the......... Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum directed the state NIMC registration to stop enrolment due to the lack of crowd control, not adhering to the Covid19 protocol and other security reasons.
The state coordinator came up with alternative means to manage the crowd by creating more registration centres within the state. Sequel to that he directed the Honorable Commissioner Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation

In the effort of the state Government to ease the registration process of acquiring NIN to her citizens in the state.
In his Remarks the Honorable Commissioner has pleaded that they should be good ambassadors of the state and they should sacrifice thier time during the registration period.
