2024 Tree of Hope!
We had a record number of 99s volunteering this year. In addition there were many volunteers from clubs, EAA chapters, churches, and other volunteer organizations.

Brenda Frye from Iowa and Brenda Hanson from Minnesota hosted a successful Tea & Trivia event. Attendees answered tea and aviation questions and learned more about each other. Cheryl Daml, Patti Sandusky, Lisa Karan, and Laura Pham also attended from the Minnesota 99s.
Congrats to Victoria Delshire on earning her Instrument rating on May 30!!!
Thursday, May 30 was my instrument check ride in KUBE. I did it having 21 knot 90° crosswinds in the Cirrus SR20 and passed and hand flew most of it!

MN 99s attended Princeton Build a Plane! We got to sit in the S2, learned about the history of Flight Expo, and Build a Plane. We got to talk to the kids involved in the program, and we had a chance to rivet and drill.
Companion Flyer Course on Saturday, February 3rd at Atlantic Avation at ANE from 8 am-1:00 pm. We still have room if any of you are interested in attending or volunteering!
The fee for this course is $70 per pair. Please register no later than January 31st.

Tree of Hope went very well yesterday! We had a record number of donations, had tons of help! There were about 6 or 7 planes that flew in from FCM, ANE, MKT, and Caledonia (CHU).

Here's Carmen....all finished with her Undergraduate Pilot Training (UPT). Carmen passed her checkride today in the T1 (multi engine jet) and has completed her UPT. She goes to survival training in Washington and then...Next step is the C-130 starting June 7 in Little Rock!
