I threw some shade while frustrated in Q4 vs Iowa, but all of this. Mickey changed the tenor of this team immediately after Frost left. He will be a great head coach, and it’s unfortunate it won’t be at Nebraska. At least not now. Thank you, Mickey!
@HuskersMN Yeah, the Big 10 really had to adjust to us like he said at his pathetic, delusionally arrogant opening press conference. His offense, defense, and special teams were a joke, and drove the final nail in the coffin of Husker football.
@NYHusker1 @FeitCanWrite Fair. But still, the “sellout streak” has been a joke for at least the last year. One more way Nebraska football is a pathetic joke.
@HuskersMN The crazy thing about this program is that EVERYONE knew we were going to lose when we were up 14-3 at the beginning of the fourth quarter. There isn’t another way it could have ended.
@Cliffordrichte6@tboneadams24@HuskersGameday It’s hard for me to see how a real, established coach would even be interested in the job at this point. Anyone who has proven they are good wouldn’t touch this for anything. Its truly pathetic. One of the worst programs in all of college football. We are basically Kansas now.
@GarySharp1620 It makes perfect sense. It’s 1/3 really bad talent, and 2/3 the most pitiful coaching in #huskers history. A team can’t and won’t melt down like that with complete predictability if there is even mediocre coaching. Everyone in Nebraska knew exactly how this game would end.
@SkersNews Whipple is really, really bad, but Frost is still the very worst coach in #huskers history. He’s the one that put the final nail in the coffin. No coming back. Keep Whipple. Fire him. We are Kansas now.
@swmckewonOWH Ha, ha, ha, ha!!! If anyone has watched Nebraska in the last decade, you know they won’t spoil anything. They have nothing to play for. No one is sticking around. The bench wasn’t even watching the last drive today. That pathetic crew won’t even show up for Iowa.
@ten_rogue@HuskersGameday So true. Nebraska is not mediocre at all. It is one of the very worst programs in all of college football. A laughing stock, a joke, an embarrassment. Mediocre would be a HUGE step forward.
