My friend Rondale Moore would have turned 26 years old today.
I wanted to make a post in his memory and remind everyone that mental health matters. It doesn’t care if you’re rich or poor, young or old, famous or unknown. It can affect anyone.
No matter what we accomplish in life, nothing is more important than our mental health.
I pray for Rondale and his family today, and I hope he knew just how loved he was. I also hope anyone reading this remembers that you are loved too, and that it’s OK to ask for help when you need it.
God bless. 🙏
june 1st is first day of men’s mental health month.
talking to someone about your mind isn’t the same as complaining or being a wuss.
many mental issues have a specific toolbox that is discovered with a diagnosis.
you might not need meds, but you do need to put in effort to help yourself.
the gym helps. sobriety helps. sleep helps. friends help. the sun helps. a clean diet helps. finding the right professional helps.
you are not alone. your problems have answers and things will get better.
you don’t have to believe me but just keep going and you can see for yourself.
UNC just lost a goal in the national championship game because the player’s foot touched the crease well AFTER the goal, while she was celebrating. That’s…batshit insane. Absolute lunacy, that rule. #NCAALax
