Minpentai GameFi

Vitalik's novel Snowmoon has a war game hidden inside. We built it on Ethereum. Plant a sigil. Wall it. Ram theirs. Fan-made. $TAUFA

@0xnoname_ We're still in the opening batch, so the 45% from each sigil goes to the war chest instead of tribute. Nothing's lost. It pays out at season end.

Tribute and the fee pool start paying once the batch closes at 20:30 UTC (4:30pm ET / 1:30pm PT). Claim works after that.

Just shipped Minpentai v1.1. Season 1 keeps going.

Nothing reset, same payouts.

This one's about fair play:

- pay for a ram, it flies. A plant next door can't wipe it
- one stray glider won't knock down your post
- free rams stop driving up weapon prices

A 256x256 board on Ethereum mainnet, gliders and rams on the chapter 4 rule, and Season 1 live right now.

Watch it, then plant a sigil. New to it? Try the free practice round first, no wallet: https://t.co/MLqcFca1Ga

It's live.

The game contract on Ethereum mainnet is now v1.0.1-season. We tested every change on a copy of mainnet first, then shipped it. Check it yourself:

You waited longer than we said you would. Thank you for staying. To make up for it, we're opening the doors early: 18:30 UTC instead of 20:00.

Doors open 18:30 UTC. The first two hours are the opening batch: one floor price for everyone.

Still working. Not rushing it.

The contract is close, and we're testing every change before it touches mainnet. Next update in 15 minutes.

[Minpentai GameFi @MinpentaiFi]

Fork is up. Our real contract, mirrored from mainnet, 0.5579 WETH and all.

Next: upgrade it to the full Season 1 game and run it hard on the copy. We touch mainnet only when it passes.

Thank you for staying with us. It means more than you know.

[Minpentai GameFi @MinpentaiFi]

To everyone refreshing the page right now: thank you. Truly.

Minpentai is the most complex game we've built, and we want every bell to run clean before a single sigil goes in. So we're tuning the contract one more time.

About 30 minutes. We'll post the second the door opens.

What is Minpentai?

In Vitalik's novel Snowmoon, people play a strategy game called Minpentai. Chapter 10 tells you why: "It's military training."

We built the board on Ethereum. Plant a sigil. Wall it. Ram theirs.

[Minpentai GameFi @MinpentaiFi]

How it works:

Plant a sigil with ETH. Wall it with posts. Ram everyone else's.

Every 4 hours a bell rings and the board runs 128 generations. Whatever is still whole is still standing. A cracked sigil gets one bell to be repaired.

The money is fully onchain.

45% of every new sigil's price is split across the sigils already standing. Early sigils earn from later ones. If new sigils stop, that stops, and most late sigils get back less than they paid.

TAU FA ($TAUFA) is the ammo. Every shot burns it.
