Solar eclipses don’t just happen on Earth!
Other planets experience them, too – and because of the differences in atmospheres and moon sizes, some of those eclipses are WILD!
Check them all out in the NASA-funded interactive by @minutelabsio: https://t.co/gH21OLUgD0
Explore eclipses on other planets!

This lab took a while to build and we're really excited to share it. It simulates what eclipses could look like if you watched from Mars, or floated within Saturn.
Made in partnership with @NASASun#EclipseSolar2024
Have you already explored all the eclipses in our solar system?
In the Eclipse Explorer interactive by @MinuteLabsio , you can see what eclipses on other planets in our solar system would look like!

Let us help you make sense of sensemaking!
We made a video together with @RANDCorporation about finding the truth in an era where we have an overload of information.
Find it here: https://t.co/tPi6ZEo2Iu
I made an interactive tween library called InTween! #javascript
https://t.co/7QNgJxfIMi
Now in beta. Hoping developers can test it out.
General idea is you declare a timeline of keyframes. User interaction can override the state _during_playback_ and then return after a delay.
Lab update! Just posted an update to the Survival Curves lab for you all!

It now contains the historical data found in the @MinuteEarth video "How Long Did People Use To Live?" https://t.co/4pzyA8CEIG
✨WE’RE MAKING A BOOK and it's coming out in October!✨ We’ll be asking for your input and sharing sneak peeks along the way over on our Patreon. For now, you can download this free wallpaper of a super cool pattern from our book: https://t.co/AlSZBn77K1 #BookWeekSuperpower
We put together a lab to pair with the latest @MinuteEarth video!
https://t.co/N9d0TCuq88
"Life expectancy" isn't as obvious as you may think. Hopefully this lab and video will clear up any confusion.
@hankgreen the life expectancy @MinuteEarth video I mentioned a bit ago: https://t.co/opn9zVvxbN
also a sweet @minutelabsio interactive to go with it: https://t.co/fafQspLa2l
Might I also suggest that any teachers starting a module on natural selection this spring also consider using @MinuteEarth
and @primerlearning 's amazing videos in your classes too!
Teachers have contacted me about using the Evolution Simulator in their classes. That makes me so happy to hear!
They suggested I add an "Export to CSV" feature so that students can download the data and use it in the classroom.
Consider it done!

I had so much fun putting together this latest video.

It surprised me how difficult a seemingly easy question could be about something I built myself.
But, also surprising was how accurately random blob behaviour could be described with an equation.
While creating the @minutelabsio Evolution Simulator, Jasper (@wellcaffeinated) noticed something intriguing...on average, the blobs always seemed to die around age 2.
Here's Jasper's video looking into why this happens...he did the hard math for you, Internet!
New Video! We're looking into the inner workings of Evolution Simulator.

In case you missed it over the long weekend, there's a fresh coding video waiting for you.

This time we simulate gravity in a beautiful proximity graph!
Why not have some fun playing around with a graph (network) simulation involving gravitational and elastic forces!? I know I did:

Hope you like it!

We finish up the PONG game and I give a bit of insight into vectors.
I'd love to see what you all build. Share links to your creations and tag MinuteLabs!
