When a man treats you right, it’s only fair you do the same for him.
He spoils you?
Give him a massage
Buy him perfumes
Buy him a watch
Take him on a picnic
Do his skincare
Take him for dinner
As long as he treats you well, never stop making him feel Loved.
A beautiful cake might get the order. A delicious one gets the next order.
This rule rings in my head every time.
In a world driven by aesthetics, it's easy to obsess over sharp edges, flawless buttercream, and viral designs. And yes, presentation matters, it gets people to stop scrolling.
But taste is what people remember.
Long after the photos have been posted and the decorations taken down, what stays with people is how the cake made them feel. That's what gets your name passed around at family gatherings. That's what brings repeat customers. That's what builds a business that lasts.
Beauty gets attention. Quality earns trus and trust is what keeps your oven busy.
who is disciplining young Christian women in Nigeria to stop idolising marriage? who is having honest and painful conversations about our identity and where we truly place our sense of self? who is helping us correct cultural messaging that insists our completion is in marriage?
If you’re a rich and ambitious woman, you need to be comfortable with dying single.
This comfort does not mean that you stop connecting to marry.
It’s just that you need to stay functional for purpose, and not emotionally drained, so that at that point, your destiny will matter over anything else and one mistake you make in the kind of man you settle for can easily truncate it.
Sexual discipline is key.
Hold yourself. Yes you may want to catch cruise and flirt here and there but having that sexual discipline is very key
It will take you far in life.
As a woman in any profession who wants a peaceful life, you have to be intentional and picky about the kind of person you choose to spend the rest of your life with.
And it’s not mandatory to get married.
I know it might sound crazy, but your peace of mind is far better than living with a leech in the name of a “traditional man.”
Cheers 🥂
Ladies note that in Nigeria, hotels are only used for sex and meeting up with anyone at a hotel means you’re a prostitute.
Also know that every man is a potential r@pist until proven otherwise, so never ever visit any man in their house or at a hotel
And if you should suggest meeting up at a restaurant, they will call you gold digger.
So where should you meet you may ask.
DON’T MEET ANY MAN AT ALL ANYWHERE BECAUSE NOWHERE IS SAFE WITH A MAN
Not church, not market, not mosque, not restaurant, not cinema, not even your own house.
Talk only on phone.
•fear of not feeling safe
•Not being able to take a walk at night.
•Getting pregnant and losing a part of me
•Being poor
•Living in a man’s world
•Not being rich and sexy
•Getting married and living with a man
• society attributing my success to a man
I’ll never bring a child into this world if I can’t guarantee that I as an adult, and their first point of radicalization is a well adjusted, deeply principled, respectful kind and honest human.
I’ll gentle parent without being permissive, abusive or absent.
Gfb I fail them.
Engaging Tomorrow’s Leaders at Madonna University
Yesterday, I continued my engagement with future leaders in the country. I was at Madonna University, Okija Campus, where I had the privilege of interacting with students at the NextGen Mentorship & Leadership Initiative on the theme: “Beyond Now: Raising the Next Generation of Leaders.”
The session was highly engaging, with students asking thoughtful and probing questions. Their concerns reflected the frustration of many young Nigerians who feel constrained by poor governance and widespread corruption, which have denied them opportunities to realise their full potential. However, I was equally encouraged by their optimism and determination to be part of the solution.
I reminded them that leadership is the greatest determinant of a nation’s progress. A true leader must possess the character, competence, capacity, and compassion to make sacrifices for the good of the people. Nigeria’s future depends on leaders committed to safeguarding lives, investing in education, creating opportunities, and building effective institutions.
I encouraged the students to take their education seriously, to prepare themselves for leadership, and to see themselves not merely as spectators but as agents of change. Through active participation in the democratic process, they have the power to enthrone leaders with integrity and the capacity to propel our nation forward.
As part of my ongoing commitment to education, I presented a cheque of ₦15 million to the university to support its educational mission. Investing in education remains one of the most effective ways to develop the human capital necessary for national progress.
Together, by raising a new generation of responsible and visionary leaders, we can build the Nigeria of our dreams that is POssible. -PO
I’m not trying to discredit your academics or degree, but if you’re still in university and waiting until graduation to lock in, you’re in for the biggest shock of your life.
Reality begins after your project defense.
If your parents are the ones fending for you, that financial support will most likely drop drastically once you graduate. If you have relatives or older friends supporting you now, a lot of that grace exists because you’re still a student. A few months after graduation, that support will reduce significantly because, whether you’re ready or not, you’ll officially enter the labor market.
And I promise you, it is not rosy out there.
If the only thing you’re doing in school is studying, and you haven’t learned a skill or started a business, no matter how small, you still have time to change that.
Find a balance and work as hard as you can without letting it affect your grades.
University students in some countries can afford to give school their 100% undivided attention. You can’t afford that luxury. You come from a continent and a country where you often have to fight and hustle for even the most basic things.
Nobody is coming to save you. I will tell you that whether you want to hear it or not. You are largely on your own. There is no Simon of Cyrene to help you carry your cross.
Post-graduation depression is a real thing.
Most of the people you call friends today will gradually drift away after school, not because anyone is wicked, but because life is about to get very serious for all of you.
If you start something for yourself now, you’ll have a head start after graduation. You’ll have something to fall back on. The small customer base you build in school could eventually become a thriving community later on.
Let me reiterate: learn a skill, start a small business, do something, no matter how little.
In the real world, employers expect you to have years of experience even as a fresh graduate, just to land a decent job that often doesn’t pay nearly enough.
I believe I have spoken enough about this.
A word is enough for the wise.
