A commemorative gathering was held at the ancestral residence of Kh. Mohd Sultan Pandithpori Sahib in Pandithpora on his first death anniversary, where party leaders, workers, and well-wishers came together to pay tribute to his remarkable legacy of public service and leadership.
The event was attended by JKPC Vice President Ab Gani Vakil, Chief Spokesperson Adv. Bashir Ahmad Dar, DP Hafizullah Mir, Provincial President Irfan Sultan Pandithpori, senior party leaders, and workers who fondly remembered his contributions and reaffirmed their commitment to carrying forward his vision.
May Allah grant him the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous

Now I have a question for Mehbooba Ji. If she chairs a review meeting of a central institution today, without being an MLA.

What stops an RSS or a BJP, NON-MLA functionary from chairing similar meetings. They can argue they have 28 MLAs against PDP’s4 MLAs.

What stops Dr Farooq Abdullah Sahib or Azad Sahib or Nirmal Singh Sahib to chair similar meetings. The list can go on and on.

And is this political entitlement available in any other part of India.

Is the elected political space in J & K destined to be a fish market.

Mehbooba Ji may have already opened the door for others. I will still say. It is imperative that she admits that it was an error of judgement.

If she doesn’t, it means she has opened the door for all sorts of unelected species and most likely politically undesirable species, especially in Kashmir, to chair similar such meetings.

And please will the CM once and for all times clear these issues. Had the CM not set his ministers against the opposition MLAs and eroded their authority. This event of constitutional impropriety may not have taken place.

And Nadda sahib is the honourable health minister of India. But he does not have the power to redesign constitutional roles. So whether Mehbooba Ji called him or not, hardly changes anything.

The chairing of the review meeting at AIIMS by a non MLA was an unconstitutional trespass and will remain an unconstitutional trespass.

Irony died a thousand deaths today on Kashmiri politics.
In a move packed with audacity former CM Mehbooba Mufti Sahiba chaired a review meeting at AIIMS.

This is nothing short of a constitutional crisis.
I can’t believe that the CM has not reacted to an event which erodes even further an already eroded power structure in J and K.
This is a direct hit at the constitutional competencies of the elected government. And these constitutional competencies are the constitutional assets of the people of J and K.
They are with the CM for a period of 5 years. He has no right to allow them to be trampled upon or allow to set a precedence for an unconstitutional trespass.

In what capacity did she chair a review meeting of an institution which comes under the domain of the BJP led central government.
Did the authorisation come from Delhi. Constitutionally, She can’t head a review meeting of the local departments which function under the elected government. Chairing Central government institutions review meetings is a constitutional impossibility.

Was there a fresh notification?
A government order?
A special authorization from BJP? Or are we now operating under a new constitutional arrangement where selected few can bypass constitutional protocol.
Are we shifting from a dual power centre to a Troika.
Is she the new shadow Chief Minster.

Can Mamta Banerjee Ji or Mr Stalin both ex chief ministers, chair review meetings.
What is the special arrangement in J and K. Under what law did she chair a meeting of AIIMS.

Is there a third power centre in the offing in J and K. Clarity is needed. Review is good. But J and K, reeling under institutional disempowerment cannot afford yet another round of disempowerment.
It is Mehbooba Ji today. It could be somebody else tomorrow.

Mark my words.
This is not a just review meeting. This is yet another round of disempowerment in the offing. There is much more than meets the eye.

Be prepared for a lot of theatre.

And by the way. Observe the style. Security guards in attendance. Wow.

The hailstorm has had a devastating impact on the upper Rajwar area of Handwara. I toured the area and the damage is visible. The hailstorm cubes were unimaginably thick in size.

The hailstorm has impacted horticulture, agriculture and roads apart from other sectors.

The administration has now issued an order for damage assessment and visits of concerned officers. That is a step in the right direction.

So this is the bombshell. 48 or so MLAs and other party leaders congregated in a wild life zone and a little bird tells me that they scared the indigenous inhabitants.

And they conferred and conferred, trying to come up with something that resembles or qualifies even remotely to be a bombshell, as threatened by CM sahib, a few weeks back.

So the NC version of a bombshell announcement is that they will sit on a protest at Jantar Mantar. I can understand protest. But where is the bombshell. I had thought CM sahib will do something innovative that will shake the corridors of power in Delhi. That would have actually qualified to be a bombshell. This looks more like a Choclate way of throwing a tantrum, than a bombshell as threatened by CM. Good boys will go to Jantar Mantar and protest on an orderly manner, replete with their respective securities. And of course full media coverage. Some “bada log” join too.

I have to say CM sahib is the most uncreative person I have come across.
What a Damp squib. What an underwhelming outcome of so grand a threat.

And yet another attempt to divert attention from their failures. Try to divert attention from lies of the election manifesto. Yet another attempt at sob stories.

The final analysis. Maybe this is the Choclate version of a bombshell. Just wondering what was that grand threat of a bombshell about. Someone has to finally even if reluctantly grow up and stop being a baby.

The joke is yet again in the Kashmiri who voted for them.

And may I if you permit strongly advocate the calling of an Assembly session and at last, PASS A RESOLUTION FOR STATEHOOD in the assembly. And send it to Parliament and send it to CM of every state in India. And for a change can Speaker sahib and his set of selective laws and unique interpretations be kept aside. And a resolution finally be passed.

So this is the bombshell threatened by CM sahib. Tourist to the core. A trip to the scenic and beautiful Dachigam.

Dachigam is actually symbolic for today’s congregation. It is secluded, isolated, entry is restricted. That actually sums up state of the present government. Aloof, secluded, isolated and entry restricted.

A little bird told me. The MLAs have been shifted into the Wild Life area of Dachigam. And an ultimatum will be served. They will be told, “ Fall in Line” or else stay back and provide company to inhabitants of the Zoo.

But the inhabitants of the zoo are apparently aghast.
