Autistic people also seem either less interested in conforming to every social norm or perhaps less able. Or perhaps neurotypical people are just unusually good at conforming (or at least pretending to conform) to norms.

6yrs ago today I got a job that let me abandon Dark Lulu.

Here's me/&dark lulu: hair dyed half/half to flip. She was a mask for staying alive during undergrad.

She got higher paying jobs, called on more in class, treated better by Drs. I hated her. She hurt.
