Several lawsuits have been filed against Wagmor Pets and its founder Melissa Bacelar, based on deceit and fraud. Bred and bought dogs and puppies are advertised as rescue dogs and sold for considerate amounts of money. This is not a rescue org! #InvestigateWagmor

Wagmor red flags:

🚩 If you go on the Wagmor Pets Venmo, you'll notice there is no Wagmor Pets charity Venmo, just the business one linked to the owner's personal bank account that she uses to raise money by making people think their donations to her venmo go to the nonprofit!

🚩 Celebrities are able to get puppies from the same litter.

🚩 buying dogs from craigslist & backyard breeders instead of actually rescuing them!

🚩 keeping sick dogs with healthy dogs

🚩 1 hour to pay the invoice without meeting or seeing the dog

🚩 She keeps client day care dogs in close proximity to “rescue” dogs

🚩 She fundraises for dogs that are no longer in her care

🚩 She moves dogs she can’t adopt out, or doesn’t want to adopt out, and sends them to other rescues

🚩 She brings dogs in from out of state, and then moves dogs from her rescue to other states

🚩 She takes credit for shelter pulls (moving large groups of dogs from a shelter) that she has nothing to do with

🚩 She does surgeries in dogs and then doesn’t provide proper recovery procedures

🚩 She lies about dogs being injured and ignored in shelters and then fundraises for the surgeries they need after being injured in her care

🚩 She stands by and allows dogs to be mishandled by her staff (e.g puppies being carried in by their necks)
