@ShakinthatChalk You have a point - because a 4 week term in which one is still expected to carry out the same amount of assessments and marking (in my case every class twice plus English Lit and Lang mock papers) is equally unsustainable and disproportionately takes over the weekends.

@tombennett71 Ross Greene’s ideas work brilliantly as a parenting aid when you are dealing one on one and altering your mindset towards your own (in my case neurodivergent) child. En masse with 30 students I see for 3 or 4 hours a week in a secondary classroom -not so much.

@MrsSpalding I rather object to the 18 months of absolute misery I have spent under a bully of an HOD-in a school that ignores staff wellbeing and an ever increasing marking policy that means I work every night and most of the weekend-being dismissed as “nonsense” that shouldn’t be believed.
