Another #fakemon comparison - 16 years ago, Boxifly's wings had boxing gloves at the ends of them, changing this to actual arms really helped the design a lot imo, I'm very proud of this update 💪😊

What?! Lobomo is evolving!
Lakana lets infants play with its soft, rattle-like body for hours. Carrying its bond from its time as Lobomo, it mimics its human's exact cries for life. If abandoned, it relentlessly tracks them down. None have ever been found in the wild.

Lobomo is one of my oldest designs, the original concept is over 25 years old!
It also features my own types, Sound (an obvious one imo) & Cloth (which is like a counterpart to Steel).

Revisiting some old favorites!
I designed these Miravellian regional variants for Zigzagoon & Linoone around 16 years ago (left). For the updates (right), I wanted to push the spiky, high-speed electric energy even further!

Lobomo form lifelong bonds with a single human baby, entering eternal sleep when their companion passes. They communicate by mimicking the infant's cries, even into adulthood. Fully adapted to people, they prefer human food over Pokémon feed.

Though terrifying-looking, this Pokémon is entirely mindless. The spirit possessing its ice escaped, leaving a clumsy shell with childlike curiosity. It's gullible and easily imprints on kind Trainers, but its goofy nature hides wildly uncontrollable dark magic lingering inside.

Drew two more of the beta Pokémon, these guys were surely the original Sandygast & Palossand, but the larger one also reminds me of the Ditto evolution due to the body shape & spike on its head. It was a lot of fun interpreting the obscured design elements 😁

Etheful has achieved a transcendent state of pure zen & calm-mindedness. Though difficult to train as Desryu, Etheful is now deeply respectful, reciprocating the exact same loyalty & patience its Trainer once showed it 💖

This is Desryu, despite being available early in the Miravel Region, it is actually first in a two-stage Pseudo Legendary line, evolving into Etheful at Level 55 🐲
