The Red Sox have lost their last 7 home series and are now 1-8-1 in series play at Fenway this season.

Through 31 home games, they have won back-to-back games only once (a 3-game winning streak in April).

They are now 5-15 in their last 20 home games and 7-18 in their last 25.

There were some in the Red Sox organization who believed Trevor Story was past his prime and no longer capable of being an everyday impact player, per @byJulianMack.

The front office was not fully convinced by his 2025 numbers. Questions were raised internally when he hit #2.
