The Embassy alongwith Centre for Peace Education, Miriam College, celebrated the 155th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and International Day of Non-Violence on 02 October.

Celebration began with offering of floral tributes at the bust of Mahatma Gandhi, inauguration of photo exhibition and screening of a documentary on Gandhi's life and message, address by Amb. Laura Quiambao-Del Rosario, President of Miriam College, Amb. Harsh Kumar Jain, and students of the college, followed by a brief cultural programme presented by Bharati Women's Association.
