Confession: I would much rather feel something and hear all of the grit/imperfection/mess of a voice/instrument in concert, than hear a single thing executed with technical perfection ever again. I’m hearing a lot of glossy and square performances these days and 😴🥱🥴 I’m bored.

Kudos to the girls for powering through Evensong while I had tears streaming down my face in every piece. Final in-person singing with them for the next couple of months & it feels so much harder this time. Music isn’t just an added extra - it’s at the very core of our identity.
