She made her way down to the training grounds with her quiver and bow in tow and her knives secured in their holsters. When she arrived she could see several other guards chatting. She hoped they would accept her.

Tauriel was extremely frustrated. The king hadn't wanted her to go out to fight the spiders, but she had anyway and was now coming back rather worse for wear. She was constantly doing things like that, and she wished she could just obey him, but -
