I adore Ryoji in the third movie.
His warmth, kindness, and genuine desire to get to know Makoto and have him open up.
But my favorite part of Ryoji's character is when he realizes he's Death and his grief over it.
The 4th movie kinda completely miss the mark with it.

I distinctly remember one of the VA's, I believe it was Marissa, say that they had already voice recorded lines for the first 4 episodes by the time the pilot came out.
Chances are, this line might have been recorded in the episode before Jax Toy.

@pizzawzlewie @Blackwing17177 For P3, both the mc and Ryoji were intentionally given the same VA in both languages for story reasons. They were always going to share a voice.
In P4, it was a liberty the dub took for Yu and Adachi to share VA's.
It's not set in stone by the story, so Revival can go either way.

I’m deeply honored to share that I voice Yosuke Hanamura in Persona 4 Revival.

I know how much this series and specifically this title means to Persona fans, so I just want you all to know the immeasurable amount of care and consideration that went into the recording of this game.

With that said, I’d also like to acknowledge the unbelievable shoes I’m filling, and with that comes immense reverence and gratitude. I can only hope to capture some of what made Yosuke so special to so many people, while bringing my own voice to the role.

A tremendous thanks to @Atlus_West and Studiopolis for trusting me and the rest of the cast to deliver a Revival worthy of your time.
