Quitting all my jobs in a month
Moving to a whole new country
Got a MacBook, iPhone, Fx30 and @rork max
It’s about time I went all in on what I’ve always wanted to do
@LonnieJordan843@rudrank It’s the quickest way to go from idea to App Store, build a swift app and install it to your device in one prompt. Handles the full App Store submission flow, replaces Xcode and tesflight fully. There’s just too many market advantages at this point
The Rork hackathon went down in London this weekend 🇬🇧
Some people shipped their first game ever and by demo we had the whole room playing multiplayer games!
Thanks everyone and huge congrats to our winners: $1K cash + $5k Rork credits

Meeting the legendary @levelsio at Cursor Compile that was a huge inspiration for me when I was a software engineer and a traveling nomad
Rork is the best product for solopreneurs to build for the App Store, and I’m excited to see how Pieter can support us!
One thing I really regret is using Expo for my screen time app. I knew I’d want to focus on iOS and heavily lean towards a native experience but it just seems like a lot of friction to get things to work. And it doesn’t help that Apple deliberately makes it impossible to access app data (app icons, screen time data).
Instead, you have to use native Swift view overlays inside a React-Native screen. The styling becomes much more difficult, and suddenly you can’t capitalize as much on a true native experience and are having to struggle to just make things work.
I could’ve used Rork Max for all of it. Focused on the best native experience without worrying about pods, Xcode build issues. And if I chose to support Android, just port it over on Rork for Android. Safe to say I won’t be making this mistake for future projects.
George @GeorgeLampro20 just went on @gregisenberg's YouTube podcast to talk about how he made a $200K ARR app at 18yo with Rork

Saw this interaction on twitter yesterday and built it in a couple tries with @Rork. If your apps look like AI slop, just get better at prompting 🤷🏽♂️
