Babies are absolutely incredible. Their skin and hair smell like apples. Their eyes light up in amazement as they learn how things function. They giggle when you hide from them and they hug you and grasp you with their tiny hands. When you point to a drawing of a cookie in their favorite book they grin up at you and say “mmmmmmm.” They are adventurous and curious and sensitive and I admire the way they feel their emotions so thoroughly and poetically. I am a baby enthusiast
